International Grade "A" Helper. Dog trainer and Handler
- Dean helped Uwe Stolpe (SV), in March 2005. Uwe main roles are German SVG, working Judge, German Police dog trainer, LGA Coach.
- Dean worked sport dogs, protection dogs and service dogs for Uwe. Dean has been invited to train alongside Uwe in East Germany.
- Dean attended the B.I.P.D.T. Instructors Course 2005 and Pass with Hons
- SAR and DDG training, this is on going.
- Dean is an accredited dog handler, with Essex and Hertfordshire Police, in real life situations, events, crowd control, this service is on going.
- Dean assisted in training drugs dogs with H.M. Prison Service. Drugs dog handler for Irish Prison Service. Dean has also set up and run the drug dog trail in Midlands Prison, Portloise.
- Dean has trained personal protection dogs for private clients, trained security dogs ready for security accreditation, trained service dogs and supplied to Prison Service and Police forces, this is still on going.
- Dean has taken NASDU and BIPDT Security dog handlers course.
- Dean is Chairman of the British Rottweiler Sport Dog Club.
- Dean is a trainer, helper and competes in sport Schutzhund, he also is a 'helper' in 'ring' sport which is on going.
- Dean is experience in training a wide variety of dogs and breeds, for protection work.
- Dean attended a protection seminar with one of Czech Republics top helpers Mira, November 2005.
- Dean is a member of the Kennel Club Accreditation Scheme for Instructors in Dog Training.
- Dean is a member of the British Police and Services Canine Association.
- Dean train's members of the public’s dogs in obedience and behaviour.
- Dean attended a seminar, 28th and 29th January. By Guy Verschatse, from Hexental kennels in Belgium, breeders of working Rottweilers, Guy is a licensed IPO/Sch/VPG, helper, judge, instructor.
- Dean was the 'helper' for Guy Verschatse at seminar in July 2006. Member of VLPV Club, Belgium.
- Dean trained with Rinus Bastiaansen, in Beringer, Belgium. Rinus is Belgium National Sch team Coach. Dean also assisted doing 'helper' work at his Sch club, working his own dogs, and members of his clubs dogs, in August 2006.
- Dean handled and worked Unkas vom Hause Neubrand, (2004 world Sch Champ, he was member of Germany IFR team 2005, with highest protection score in trail), in a Sch 3 protection round, in Sept 2006 at an Oliver Neubrand seminar.
- Dean attended the IFR World Champs, Ohlsdorf, Austria 2006. Trained with Austrian army "Militar-Hundestaffel Kaisersteinbruch".
- Dean has regular trips to Belgium to train, and do helper work for Rottweilers to prepare them and who have competed at IFR world Championships 2006 & 2007 and is ongoing.
- In February 2007. Seminar with South Yorkshire police for 2 days, training manwork/protection with dogs and handlers on initial 13 week course. Dean has on going work and is an advisor to South Yorkshire Police dog section.
- Dean set up Warwickshire Schutzhund Verein, for regular training sessions, seminars etc.
- Dean has trained in Belgium and Mondio ring sports, he is learning to become a Ring Sport Decoy.
- Dean carried out the Criminal work for the Yorkshire service dog trials on 7th June 2008.
- Dean carried out the criminal work for the National Service dog trails on 5th July 2008.
- Dean organised and ran a Ring Sport Seminar on August 2nd & 3rd 2008, with a top Ring Sports competitor / decoy’s.
- Drugs dog and protection dog instructor for Olympic park dog section.
- Dean went out to Belgium on the 21st march 2009 where he passed his FCI, grade "A" helpers licence under Judge Alfons van den
Bosch (FCI), Judge Rudy Cattrysse (FCI), helper trainer Jan Gallant.- In 2009 I was asked for the second year to be criminal at the Yorkshire service dog trials and also the National Service dog trials.
- In June 2009 I was asked to carry out the helper work at Romlet OG VPG trials, Judge Louis vandepoel (SV), confirmed Dean as a grade “A” helper.
- In July 2009, Dean became an instructor for the National Training Inspectorate for Professional Dog Users (NTIPDU) instructing and assessing dogs/handlers on the Olympic park dog section.
- On the 27th September 2009 Dean gained his BAGSD grade "A" helper licence and grade "B" track layer licence .
- On 19th & 20th March 2010 Dean is grade "A" helper at BAGSD Derbyshire selection trial, confirmed grade "A" by Judge Peter Rohde (SV)
- On 29th & 30th May 2010 Dean is grade "A" helper at BAGSD South Cheshire selection trial, confirmed grade "A" by Judge Hermann Schaemann (SV)
- On 23rd & 24th April 2011 Dean is grade "A" helper at BAGSD Washington selection trial, confirmed grade "A" by Judge Siem Kwak.
- On the 6th May 2012, Dean was relicensed as a Grade “A” Helper with BAGSD IPO.
- On 24th November 2013, Dean was confirmed as an "A" Grade helper at BAGSD Washington trial by Judge Berry Kleinhesselink.
- On 28th April 2014, Dean relicensed with BAGSD as an "A" Grade helper. He scored 100% in his theory test and 97% in his practical test under Judge Paolo Picariello.
- In May 2014, Dean was selected to be helper for BAGSD Super Trophy (world FCI selection trial) and again confirmed as "A" Grade helper by Judge Urs Meyer.
- In June 2014, Dean was reserve helper for GSDL/BAGSD WUSV world selection trial.
- On the 30th November 2014, Dean is Grade “A” Helper at BAGSD Washington IPO trial, confirmed Grade “A” by Berry Kleinhesselink.
- On the 23rd March 2015, Dean is Grade “A” Helper at BAGSD Washington IPO trial, confirmed Grade “A” by Cees Jaspers.
- On the 3rd May 2015, Dean is Grade “A” Helper at BAGSD Super Trophy, confirmed Grade “A” by Edgar Scherkl.
